Monitoring post - Week beginning 17th February
This week i have managed to complete all of my production work. i have created 3 double page spreads, a front cover and a contents page. i will get my teacher to look at these before i export them in case i need to edit them in any way to make them better. i also successfully took photographs for one of my articles. In my opinion i think my client would be pleased with this progress as my deadline isn't till friday the 28th of february and i have left myself time to make adjustments and amendments, which is what i planned to do in my schedule, this means i am back on track.

Contact sheets - 2nd photoshoot
This photo shoot was successful but i feel as though it was slightly repetitive as some of the photographs look the same, which suggests i should have looked at more poses for my model to do during the photo shoot. Furthermore i think these photographs worked and i can easily pick some for my articles as they work really well. Some of the poses don't work but there is enough variety to pick photographs that work with my magazine. This shoot has been successful.
contact sheets - first photoshoot
This photo shoot was successful as i got a lot of photographs taken and they had a lot of variety to them, this has given me more choice of what i should use in my products. Some of the photographs will not work for my magazine as they don't work composition wise and the poses don't really go with my article, but i thought trying a range of things would be good so that i had more to choose and work from. I have learnt how to work the lighting in the studio, which is a skill i have gained during this process. Overall i am pleased with my photographs.

Monitoring log - Week beginning 10th February
This week i have examined my articles to make sure they abide by rules and regulations to make sure they are appropriate for publishing. unfortunately i have not been able to export my products as they are not finished. One of the double page spreads that i saved had corrupted, which also put me behind schedule as i have had to start the double page spread again, but thankfully my products do not need to be in for another week, which i gave myself incase i ran into difficultly. Next week i will finish all my products at home ready to export for the deadline. I am not worried about getting finished as i have planned time to get it done before the deadline. Although i haven't stuck to my schedule because i haven't been able to export my products i don't think my client would be disappointed as i have a back up plan. I have looked at my folders and added some more work to them this week, which is what i said i would do to make sure they are finished. i will give my folder to my teacher so that she can double check i don't have anything else to do, therefore i will be able to know that i can forget about my folder as it will be completed.

Monitoring Log - Week beginning 3rd February
This week according to my schedule i set out to continue writing my 3rd article, which i have completed earlier this week. Furthermore i have started and almost completed my first double page spread and have made a start on my front cover in InDesign. I will make a start on a second double page spread later on today in my free lessons, which is what i have set out to do this week. Over the weekend i will check my folders to see if there is any work i need to do to keep my folders up to date and make sure they're finished, this is so i can focus on my production so that it will be the best it can be and so that it will have my full attention. This week i have done everything my schedule has said, and i think my client would be happy with this as i have also done a few extra things like making a start on my front cover, this shows i can keep to my schedule and keep a steady working pace without getting behind. i am pleased with my work this week and do not have any worries about falling behind as i am working in my free lessons and making sure i stick to my schedule.

Monitoring log
Over the weekend i have managed to get up to date with my schedule and i have completed my first draft of my second article, i am pleased with this because i am now back on a steady working pace and keeping up with my schedule. i believe my client would be pleased with the results of me finishing my first draft because it shows that i can keep to my schedule and i will get things done, overall for the week beginning the 27th of January i managed to get more done that was on my schedule therefore i am now slightly ahead of my schedule and this gives me advantages to get more work done.
